Aspen Hall, Bend Oregon
This sweet wedding at Aspen Hall was an example of how no matter the location people will travel far and near to witness great love. A destination wedding for everyone, including the bride and groom, they experienced not only a great wedding but enjoyed a week filled with Bend Oregon adventures.
The set up was simple and elegant, the dress was easy to wear and took no assistance. Her hair was flawless and perfectly self curled. She was the epitome of an easy going bride as she giggled and smiled and snuck food from the caterer’s kitchen set up before the ceremony. The first look eased their ceremony worries with laughter under the tree arches in the privacy of their own moment.
After the first look both Owen and Shasta walked back to view their reception hall and hug their families. They eased into their line up as guests found their seats outside. It was a hot summer afternoon and the breeze was lacking but the guests waited with smiles. Owen’s college friends sat in a row of matching Hawaiian shirts and shell necklaces, ready to get the show started. Both Shasta’s mom and dad walked her down the aisle, they held hands behind her back and they showed the colors of their own sweet endless marriage.
The ceremony was kind and thoughtful with a short game of RoShamBo to decide who read vows first.
They ended the ceremony and started their marriage with a kiss. The reception began after family photos with a large group photo and a human tunnel into the hall.
The dances were sweet and lively and downright comical at times. This family had deep love for one another and created a strong foundation for Shasta and Owen to flourish as a newly married couple.
